The Rochester Medical® All-Silicone Foley Catheter is designed to enhance comfort and eliminate risks that may be associated with repeat exposure to latex devices. The clear silicone material enables visualization of drainage and helps minimise encrustation. Silicone is an inert, toxin-free elastomer and is the ideal material for creating a safe, dependable Foley catheter. The catheter provides improved drainage with a lumen that is approximately 30% larger than latex catheters.


• Rochester's all-silicone catheter will NOT leach chemicals that can irritate the urethral mucosa and lead to stricture formation.

• The non-stick surface makes it highly resistant to encrustation

• Silicone doesn't absorb water so patients don't experience the discomfort of a swollen catheter shaft.

• Rochester Medical tests every balloon TWICE during manufacturing to ensure quality and reliability. A patented process forms the balloon integrally with the shaft and tip, providing a smooth transition where the balloon meets the shaft.

• The ribbed funnel ensures an easy, leak free connection and the clear silicone allows visual examination of drainage.

• The silicone shaft allows for a lumen approximately 30% larger than a coated latex catheter of the same Charriere size. This increases drainage flow rate dramatically, permits longer use and promotes better drainage when blood clots or sediment are present.
